This water front historic Stephenson Farmhouse is a cozy 3 bedroom farmhouse that sits on 5 acres with frontage on Lower Mason Pond. A bird lovers paradise along with sightings of beaver & river otters. Trail from house leads to waterfront, canoes, paddles & PFD’s and a picnic table. We’ve maintained the antiquity of the house along with many antique pieces of furniture. The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Baxter Lake House: Decks Docks and Flip Flops

Newly renovated lake house that sleeps 9 guests. Deck w/ grill and fire pit, great for evening grilling & socializing. Dock and swimming area for kayaking or canoeing. Dock is out June - Oct. There are 2 kayaks and a canoe on the premises at no additional charge. 1st floor has an open kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & a full bath. The 2nd floor has an additional bedroom, a 1/2 bath & an open loft area that sleeps 2 with an entertainment area.

Cedar Swamp Farm

A 2 bedroom house with a porch and gazebo in the back yard in a rural setting located on gravel road. Overlooking lovely horse pastures and deer often come to visit. 35 additional wooded acres to explore. There are unorganized trails that abut “Dead Brook“ available to walk. “Majic”, “Wally” and “Boots” are your neighbors and love to say hello and get a pat.

Relax with the family year around at this peaceful lake front camp. Enjoy relaxing on the upper enclosed deck or lower open deck with fire pit, both overlooking the water. Direct access to the lake, kayaks available for use, and private dock. Close to Belfast, this cozy camp has everything you need to relax and get away with full views of the lake.
