Our Round House is located on a Rural Coastal Acreage, the edge of the Great Sandy Straits overlooking Fraser Island and the glorious blue waters on this area. Recently renovated and very comfortable we offer three bedrooms - the main Queen Bedroom upstairs has air conditioning, tv and an ensuite whilst downstairs is the Queen Bedroom and Twin Bedroom with the shared bathroom. There is also a separate toilet upstairs. Other areas to enjoy are the Lounge, Dining Room, BBQ, reading retreat & deck.

Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

200m walk to quiet beach, beautiful area surrounded by wildlife & 15mn drive into town, 5mn drive to local shops. Public transport is limited so having a car is recommended, bus stop is 200m away. Parking is on the street unless you have a 4WD where you can park on the grass in front of the flat. The property is fully fenced & the front yard fits a jet ski or box trailer. We live in the rear house, family of 4 with school aged children. The flat has its on separate entrance.

The magnesium mineral pool feels silky and smooth on your skin and can help ease your aches and pains, a great way to relax and unwind. The pool is a shared space. There is also another outdoor area next to the pool to relax or have a barbeque.

Its elevated position allows lovely water views and cooling breezes on those hot summer days. The property is best suited to travelers with their own transport.

Hi. Welcome to 'Toogoom on the Beach'. Toogoom, means "a place of rest". Toogoom is 12 km from Hervey Bay which offers all the amenities of a modern city. You will have your own private self-contained flat with a swimming pool at your door and the beach 30 metres away. Guests get their own self contained 2 bedroom unit. The unit / yard is fully enclosed and totally pet friendly. Outside of the yard they have unlimited beach to play on.
