A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

If you are looking for a comfortable yet exciting vacation spot, Patti's Getaway is your place. In 2018, Patti's Getaway has been remodeled. Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. This is a smoke free/pet free property. No large gatherings or parties allowed. Although we are not located on the beach, we are 2 blocks from the lake and 4-7 blocks from the beach. When staying at our place you are a 7 minute drive to Tawas Point State Park, 19 minutes from Lumberman's Monument/National Forest, and 14 minutes from Red Hawk Golf Course. Also a short distance from canoeing, kayaking, bike trails & hiking. Plentiful shops restaurants and bars to enjoy. #STR-010
