Our self-contained studio is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We provide a comfy bed and continental breakfast. The studio has beautiful views across farmlands to the Tararua Mountain Ranges and sea views the other side. A 10min stroll takes you to our picturesque beach, via scenic walkways. Peka Peka Beach is great for swimming, walking, or just sitting and relaxing. There are masses of tracks and trails accessible from here and within the Kapiti area, for biking and walking or tramping. A trip to Kapiti Island from Paraparaumu, is a must for nature lovers. For those wanting a more relaxed stay, there are really good cafes and restaurants nearby. Harrison's Garden Cafe in Peka Peka, is great and there is a good variety of eateries at Waikanae Beach. The Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae Township, 5 mins drive away, also for coffee and cake, or well selected wines.

It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Isness - Your Haven on Hautere

Isness is an upmarket, semi rural, open plan home set on a rural lifestyle block in Te Horo, Kapiti Coast. Cycle and walking trails/pathways are moments from the property, including bridle tracks (there is ample room to park horse floats and small paddocks/areas for your horse to graze if required). Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

Swallows Nook @dirtfarm

Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.
