Our safari lodges are the ultimate glamping experience with unique bedding, relaxing covered porches, comfortable furniture and electricity. These units include a mini fridge, coffee maker, living room area, and full bathroom. Safari lodges sleep 2 in a plush queen bed with an option to add one cot for extra fees. These 16'X20' accommodations sit atop a raised deck with a fire pit and grill nearby A one-time pet fee of $50 per booking as well as a refundable $100 deposit collected upon check-in

Big Lakes Tipi

Try The Arrowhead Tipi Resort the most unique “Glamping” experience in east Texas! Our Big Lakes tipi offers a custom designed interior outfitted with plush beds, fresh linens, electricity, a/c, fans & heaters per season. Every spacious tipi includes a full sized futon with the main bed & your stay includes 4 guests. We have private restrooms in the bath house, a covered pavilion, propane grills, campfires, fishing pond & lake access. We provide a back to nature experience with comfort.

Retreat on the Hill: The Tipis

The two Tipis at Retreat on the Hill create a single suite – Tipi I has a queen bed, air conditioning, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and Alexa for music. Tipi II is a bathroom suite that includes a jetted bath with bubbles and night lights! Ours is a unique “urban glamping” experience as our accommodations are located on a clifftop ten stories above Horseshoe Bay, but walkable to restaurants and offering incredible sunset views and the night lights of the lake!

Farm fresh breakfast, private yoga or photography sessions with our 1951 Ford truck available upon request.
