The living area includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and comfortable furniture to enjoy a smart tv and fireplace. A King bed and full bath on the main floor. The loft has a queen bed. This 2 bedroom home is close to the best of the cities attractions, including the famous Ohio State Reformatory only a 6 minute drive away. Also, conveniently located close to Kingwood Center, hospitals, and Mid-Ohio Raceway. This home has everything you need from cooking your own meals to doing laundry. Enjoy evenings on the back deck or around the firepit. Disc golf basket and discs are provided for your entertainment.

The Home Away From Home is a peaceful, cozy, family friendly home. We do accept pets with a fee. It is a 3-minute drive to the Ohio State Reformatory (INKCARCERATION), 2-minute drive (10minute walk) to Mansfield Speedway, 10-minute drive to Downtown Mansfield, Hospital, Kingwood Center, Fairgrounds, Richland Mall and many other stores and restaurants, 15-minute drive to Charles Mill, 20-minute drive to Snow Trails, 25-minute drive to Mid-Ohio Racetrack and Pleasant Hill.

A floor-to-ceiling glass front provides you with a view of fields green in summertime and ripe with goldenrod in the fall, four outdoor deck spaces invite you to relax in the beauty of nature, and a second story loft suite with a soaking tub are ready to provide you with rest and refreshment.

Enjoy a tranquil getaway at this cozy and historic 1836 log home in the woods. During your stay, you will be greeted with a tasteful mix of antique features, Amish craftsmanship, and comfort. Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea on the screened porch in the company of the deer who often visit. End your day relaxing in the hot tub or unwinding next to a wood-burning fire (inside or out) before luxuriating in bamboo sheets for a restful night's sleep.
