Cozy Waterfront Cabin - Welcome to The Rookery

Come and enjoy our cozy waterfront 4 season cabin. It has all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Full size kitchen (stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker & kettle) & bathroom (shower only). 32 inch TV with a Firestick, there is no cable. There is WIFI. Sleeps 4. 1 queen bed on the main level & 2 single beds in the loft (ladder access only) Screened in porch with BBQ ( new in 2024) And a deck in front of the porch with more seating. Heated in the winter with propane.

The Riverbank Bungalow

The Riverbank Bungalow is a 2 bedroom house in Thessalon beside the river. Master bedroom has a queen size bed. Secondary guest room has a bunk bed. Living area couch folds out into a double bed. Sleeps up to 5. Parking for vehicle and toys: kayaks, snowmobiles, ATV's. Private laundry, full kitchen. Enjoy 'Thessalon There's No Place Like Home' on Youtube by artist Shannen Vine for a tour. Comfort, privacy, and convenience. A second home on the North Shore without having to buy real estate.

Into more play then, hiking,biking,boating,kayaking,fishing,swimming, SUP or just plain relaxing are right out the back door.

Located on a State of Michigan ORV A route; and is across from a historic Catholic Church. Tombstone tourists will enjoy the local cemetery just up the road.

Welcome to the Patersons of Huron Shores- located on 80 acres on the banks of the Mississagi River in Iron Bridge ON. Here you can unplug from life and reconnect with nature.This is a place to relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

North Shore Cottage on Lake Huron - pet friendly

Only 5 min off Hwy 17, on a dead end road with only nature and water sounds. Right on the waters of Lake Huron, this rustic but well-equipped cabin has everything you will need, with wifi access. Small living room with kitchen and first bedroom is at the front of the cottage, laundry and shower are in the next room, and a larger bedroom at the back boasts a screened-in porch and 1/2 bath. Please note there is a $50 fee per pet (maximum of 2 pets) when you stay at our cottage.

Drummond Island - Whits End Boathouse

Welcome to Whit’s End on beautiful Drummond Island! We are excited to share our boathouse with you here in the historic Whitney Bay area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to Loons and watching nearby freighters navigate Lake Huron. The sunsets over Whitney Bay are truly spectacular. The living space is located on the second floor of our renovated boathouse. We run a small pottery shop on the main level, so you may notice occasional activity during the day.

Rocky Retreat on Bright Lake

Custom-built cottage home perfect for the whole family. Located on a quiet, dead-end street close to the highway (you won't get lost finding it!). The one acre lot is a nice size, ideal for enjoying nature and looking at the lake. Sloped driveway/lot goes down to Bright Lake, a good fishing spot in Huron Shores, Northern Ontario. The waterfront has been excavated to remove the weeds and create a sandy beach, but there is currently no dock on the property.

Feel free to weed the gardens. Help yourself to some rhubarb when in season. Walk the quiet sandy beach at least once a day. Listen to the waves as the sun sets over the horizon. Winter: same beautiful sunset. Enjoy your tea from the warmth of the living room rocking chair.

A beautiful hike and paddle through a private trail and two isolated lakes brings you to our cozy off-grid A-frame cabin on a remote lake, surrounded by moose pasture and the soaring granite cliffs of the Canadian Shield. Reachable only by canoe, which we supply - no portaging is required. A back-country adventure to a cozy cabin!
