Bar Calise is the most famous of all of Ischia's bars and cafes. It's situated on the corner of Piazza degli Eroi in Ischia Porto and draws both locals and tourists alike from all over the island. It has a grandiose garden area with seats kept away from the sun by the large amount of plants and waiters smartly dressed in their white uniforms that provide table service. There's also a large seating area indoors and a huge array of cakes and desserts on display. You can also choose to just stand at the bar which works out considerably cheaper.
