An old-school neighborhood Italian bakery. Cannoli aren't filled until you order them, so be patient--it's worth it to enjoy that crisp shell filled with moist cream. Or try their sfoggliatelle--a traditional pastry with layered buttery pastry dough and filled with a sweet, cheese-based filling.

Grab a piece of the square (Sicilian pie) on your way to the subway! let them warm it up for you, and eat in on your way to Manhattan! You can thank me later!

Excellent Cannoli made to order. Also great is nearby La Guli, which has better atmosphere, but the Cannoli at Rose and Joe's are the best!

Best Breads / Cake & Cookies in Astoria... Old world bakery, of italian bread of all types.

Old-school Sicilian bakery with great pizza at the counter in the back. Their olive bread is also highly recommended!
