The Heard Museum is a wonderful celebration of Native American artwork, culture, and history. By collaborating with Native American artists and tribal communities the museum is able to share first hand stories on top of the unique and impressive artwork they showcase. You can easily spend hours here reading the detailed displays throughout as you absorb information that is both fascinating and often eye-opening and sobering. The museum hosts festivals and programs throughout the year as well so check the website for an up to date schedule. This is the perfect stop for both adults and children.
