Beautiful for a walk in all seasons, especially during spring and late fall. There is also a geological museum there with a dinosaur (not alive, unfortunately) and a newly built climate house.
These beautiful botanical gardens are a must to walk through and often have events held within them
Large botanical garden at Tøyen. Great for a walk. There's also a museum and a nice cafe here. Walking distance from Grønland.
If you love gardens and/or historic museums this is the place for you! Great for kids.
The botanical gardens is located close to the appartment and is a great place to walk around. The cafe in the middle of the garden offers Oslos best "svele" which is a sort of norwegian pancake - a must eat!

“This top Italian joint brings you rustic food from all over Italy and perhaps the best Italian places in the city. They also have the biggest Italian wine cellar in Norway. Try the oxtail ravioli! Also, try Bettola, the cocktail bar next door”
