Drew's Brews is a local guy that roasts his own coffee beans and a few coffee shops in the area carry his brand. Ugly Mugs is my favorite and has a great atmosphere.

You may have heard of Jack's BBQ downtown (which is very good) but my favorite BBQ place is Edley's. Try the cheesy grit casserole, it's amazing, but you really can't go wrong here. They also have a nice selection of craft beer and well drinks.

This place specializes in Pretzel Sandwiches. Very delicious and large selection of craft beer and well drinks. Very cool place to relax. They also have cards and board games to play while enjoying time with friends.

Lot's of places downtown call themselves Honky Tonks but this is hands down the most authentic. Go in and have a Miller light or PBR and listen to some classic country.

The filling station has 50+ craft beers on tap. They are called the filling station because they fill growlers here but you can also now go and hang out while having one of your favorite craft beers. Just across the parking lot from Edley's.

They always have great music here and good pub food. I always recommend guests (staying on Monday night) call and get tickets to the TimeJumpers. They play every Monday night and are some of the best session musicians in town. Several years ago they invited Vince Gill to come sit in with them and now, if he isn't on the road, he is there every Monday night with the rest.

Parks & Nature
Great place to see lots of deer and wild turkey. Also great for walking, running, or biking. There is also a remote control airstrip and it is pretty cool to go watch people fly there planes.

Everyone visiting Nashville should know about the Grand Ole Opry but most don't realize that in the summer you can actually sit out front and watch many of the performers for free. It is truly a great time at an incredible value.

Locally we have mixed opinions about this mall. I would much rather be telling you about our amazing theme park, Opryland, that has turned out some of the most amazing talent you listen to on the radio (BTW... Janice sang here for years in the Country Music USA show) but Gaylord tore it down in the late 90's :( However, it really is a beautiful mall and has a ton of great shopping and restaurants. Regal Opry Mills with an IMAX theatre is also located here.
