Olympia serves great baked pastries and homemade cakes as well as day time and night time meals. Such as salads or meat dishes. It also has a good vegetarian selection. We suggest you go there when you are in no rush as the wait for a table can be quite a while. But it is well worth the wait!

Harbour House is perhaps one of the best places to go for Seafood in Cape Town. Although a little pricey, the food is absolutely raved about from both tourists and locals. Set on the Rocks of Kalk Bay harbor with the waves crashing against the glass windows it is a stunning view over the False Bay sea. The seafood is impeccably fresh and seasoned beautifully. I would suggest the paprika squid or the oysters to start and the daily catch as a main.

The Old Biscuit Mill is my favorite local market! Along with every other Capetonian, we go there on a Saturday morning for breakfast or brunch and buy some of our groceries. It gets incredibly busy so I would suggest getting there early. It is a wonderful vibey part of Cape Town known as Woodstock. There is plenty to do and see in the area and is only a stone throw's away from the city bowl. Be sure to check out Honest Chocolate; where you can see the process of chocolate making.

It gets incredibly busy so I would suggest getting there early. It is a wonderful vibey part of Cape Town known as Woodstock. There is plenty to do and see in the area and is only a stone throw's away from the city bowl. Be sure to check out Honest Chocolate; where you can see the process of chocolate making.
