Our fully renovated three bedroom Cottage on the picturesque Maragle Creek provides the perfect location for resting, walking, birdwatching, fishing and platypus viewing. Visit Tumbarumba Rail Trail,Paddy's River Falls, Hume & Hovell Trackheads, Sculpture Trail,Southern Cloud Lookout, Mt Selwyn Snowfield & Upper Murray drives. Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Comfortable (guest reviews concur) & warm beds, block out blinds so you can sleep in late. Queen, double & trundle single. Plenty of wardrobe space with extra pillows/blankets/towels. The leather lounges are great for lazing around, watching TV or reading. Cards, board games & reading material will ensure there is something to occupy everyone.

It’s also a great place to rest your head when travelling up or down the Hume Highway between capital cities.

An ideal base if your interest is the snow or brilliant in the warmer months if you like to swim or fish for the legendary murray cod. Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.
