Tällaiseen majapaikkaan ei Airbnb:ssä usein törmää. Yli 130-vuotias hirsimökki Suvannon kulttuuriperintömaisemassa vie asukkaansa aikamatkalle 1800-luvun peräpohjalaiskylään. Kohde sopii parhaiten Lapin luonnon, historian ja hiljaisuuden ystävälle, joka ei pelkää talvella pimeää eikä kesällä sääskiä. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Cottage near Santa Claus Village

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Nivankylä village is located 10km from Rovaniemi city centre. Our place is almost hidden by the trees in local village. Here you can spend your holidays in your own peace. Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

Reindeer room near city center

Cozy room with bathroom, kitchenette and French balcony near city center. 140cm wide bed. Bed sheets, towels, and cooking utensils. TV. Microwave, washing machine. In a cellar there’s drying room. Supermarket, bus station, and train station within walking distance. There's a free parking along Karhunkaatajantie. You can also park to the in yard for 3 hours with a parking disc. Täällä voit harrastaa hiihtoa, lumikenkäilyä sekä kalastusta. Lisäksi järjestämme moottorikelkka retkiä toiveiden mukaan. Mökiltä on matkaa Rovaniemen kaupunkiin noin 75km. Pilkkiretki 40€ henkilö, 1-2h. Pilkkiretki moottorikelkalla 90€ hlö. Moottorikelkka safari 90€ henkilö 2h. Varauksen voit tehdä viestillä.

Tämä pieni hirsinen mökki tarjoaa lämpöä ja tunnelmaa luonnon keskellä. Mökki lämmitetään puukamiinalla. Mökki tarjoaa vivahteita entisajan elämästä sähköttömyydellään. Tunnelmaa ja valoa tuovat kynttilän liekit sekä tulen rätinä kamiinassa. Mökin ikkunasta avautuu metsämaisema, joka tuo luontoa edelleen lähemmäs sinua. Pienessä keittonurkkauksessa löytyy kaasuliesi ruoan valmistamiseen. Mökin vieressä on oma ulko-wc. Suosittelen kohdetta 2-3 yön elämykseksi.

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.
