Rest, soak, retreat. The Studio is a converted grain store on a hidden 200 year old farm. Simple to access from the A38 or the London mainline - it’s a secret escape near beaches, restaurants, pubs, a 24hr Little Waitrose, farm shop, stately homes and attractions. There is room for two adults and up to two little children (sharing small sofa bed/one in travel cot), or one older child. One night stays are restricted: Max two guests. Highfield House is in the picturesque village of St Germans, backed by open fields for long walks with views down the Lynher estuary. 10 mins drive from the Cornish coast including the beautiful beaches of Portwrinkle and Whitsands Bay. 2 minute walk from the train station with regular services to Penzance, Plymouth and London Paddington.

The Secret

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. “The Secret” a compact one bedroom cottage located in the village of Tideford. The open plan cottage has a separate downstairs toilet and shower room. The double bedroom is accessed by a steep, narrow staircase. The living area incorporates table and chairs, sofa,TV and Wi-Fi, kitchenette with fridge, hob, air fryer, microwave, toaster and kettle. You are welcome to sit in the back garden where there is a friendly resident dog.

Orchard Annie - Shepherd’s Hut with Hot Tub

A romantic setting for the perfect getaway. Our hut is situated in a traditional Cornish Apple orchard. Guests will have private access to the wood fired hot tub. Guests will be able to explore the surrounding countryside, beaches and restaurants before coming back to enjoy the beauty of the hut. We have a host of wildlife in the orchard including pheasants, woodpeckers, barn owls and honey bees. However you choose to relax our luxurious shepherd's hut is the perfect space to unwind.

The studio is situated on the Rame Peninsula, and is a base from which to explore "Cornwall's forgotten Corner". It is just a 5 minute drive from Whitsand Bay & Portwrinkle Beach, with it's access to the SW Coast Path and a golf course. The location is handy if you enjoy walking, beaches, country parks and fishing villages - or are visiting family & friends or HMS Raleigh, which is nearby. This quiet countryside spot is also ideal if all you want to do is sit and relax.
