Auchriachan Farm sits just outside the Village of Tomintoul the Highest village in the Highlands, a family working farm. We glamped ourselves & decided this would be an ideal situation to set up our own Pods to give others the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being in the Glenlivet Estate & also in the Cairngorm National Park there is lots to offer, walking, cycling, bird watching, skiing, also for STARGAZING & of course our National Scottish Drink "WHISKY" lots of Distilleries to Visit.

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

My unusual holiday home is part of the unique Bridge House built over the River Ardle in k1881. It has recently been renovated to a warm and cosy standard! Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, brick and pine flooring. All mod cons including wifi & smart TV. Quiet, peaceful and rural location. Dufftown is 3.5 miles , Keith is 7 miles and the village of Drummuir 1.5 miles

Within an hours drive of Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark Adventure Centre and Cairngorm Mountain. 5 miles from Lecht Ski Centre and Bike Trails. Tomintoul is in the centre of the "Snow Roads" route. Tomintoul & Glenlivet area is one of the best places in the Cairngorms National Park to discover the wonders of the night sky and is the most northerly Dark Sky Park in the world.

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
