You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place, within a 10 minute drive of everything. Close to Ft Leavenworth Base, St Mary’s school and all of Kansas City. A large garden is on the property with several varieties of vegetables and fruits grown. The rooms have new hardwood floors throughout. Renovations to the bathroom. Kitchen includes microwave, stove, dishwasher and fridge. Laundry room had both washer and dryer. New ac and furnace installed. Two kitties here!

First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

It's close to the walking/biking paths at Baker Wetlands, near shopping, sports venues, and K.U., Haskell, & Baker universities. 10 minutes to campus & quirky downtown Lawrence. I'm 1 hour from MCI airport. I welcome couples, solo and business travelers, athletes, LGBTQ, artists, international tourists, and those who want some peace and quiet in a tranquil country setting. **Must be cat-friendly.**

Our settlement was built in 1920. We have a cute apartment above our general store. (one flight of stairs) We offer sweet smells of cinnamon rolls each morning with coffee and pastries right downstairs. We are located right in the middle of town. Basehor is 10 minutes west of Kansas Speedway, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Hollywood casino and Legends shopping area. Lynnmark Mercantile is a 4 minute drive to Holy Field Winery, and 33 minute drive to Historical Lawrence, Kansas

Memory Lane Black Jack Room

This home was built in 1907 and was the dream of thirteen young women at the turn of the century. The house stands tall and is enjoyed and loved 119 years later! The Black Jack room might be a great place to kick back. Today, four ladies have gathered historical facts about this house to keep the dream alive.
