Porthcothan Retreats is located on the North Cornwall coastline next to the beautiful sandy beach in Porthcothan and located next to the south west coast path a few miles from Padstow. A small exclusive adults glamping retreat, tucked away in lush surroundings. We only have 4 unique cabins on site each sleeping 2 with their own private garden & own facilities. Foxes Cove is an adorable shepherds hut with its own separate kitchen & bathroom (sleeps2). Available for short stays all year round.

Beach house situated behind the dunes of Mawgan Porth. One bedroom with a king-size bed and a large day bed in the entrance room. Would suit small family, couple or a small group of friends for a surf/walking trip. Upstairs has an open-plan living and kitchen area with balcony. Ground level has a lovely decking area with dining table, an outdoor shower (cold water), a fridge for chilled outdoor drinks and a hammock for guest use. Perfect for surfing and beach activities. Your very own Bolt Hole, a little piece of Cornish paradise. Our unique cabin is surrounded by farmland with the stunning Seven Bays at your finger tips and close to both St Merryn and Padstow. The perfect escape for two. With a cosy kingsize bed that's raised so you can enjoy the far reaching views, your very own stylish bathroom and a hand crafted simple kitchen. The outside area is a real suntrap, perfect for those morning coffees and evening BBQ's. An ideal base to explore from.

Coastal, Countryside annex

Enjoy a relaxing break in a small Cornish hamlet, with lovely countryside views with wildlife going about their day. Also enjoy an amazing stary sky by night while enjoying your favourite beverage. Cedar Lodge has just been completed and is brand new ready for 2023. It is a stunning 1 bedroom annex situated in the lower half of our garden. Although it is in close proximity to our family home there is a dividing fence and all access to the annex is separate with shared parking.

Peaceful area of the village giving you space to relax and breathe in the surrounding beauty. Go exploring the 7 bays to Newquay . Treat yourself to local culinary delights.

Sunset shepherd’s hut by the sea

Enjoy amazing sunsets over the ocean from the comfort of your cozy double bed and huge windows. Stroll 10 minutes through paddocks to your choice of a number of great beaches and swimming spots. Porthcothan beach is a gentle wander around the coastal path and Trescore, Porthmear, Golden Burn and Pentire and are right on your doorstep. This cute space, hand built by the host, is situated in a quiet field with 2 other accomodation spaces but plenty of privacy and peace.

The Potting Barn

Welcome to the Potting Barn. Our secret cabin nestled in our exclusive private Glamping area. With on-site VIP parking, cooking facilities, plus your own private ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Outside you have your own garden with outdoor furniture and a fire pit for those all important BBQ’s under a starry sky. Also comes with luxury wood-fired hot tub for two! Just bring your clothes and towels – we provide the rest! We allow well behaved dogs.
