Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Waterfront Lodge Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Situated on the Salmon River this private newly custom built lodge features wooden beam ceilings on the main floor giving it a warm & cozy feeling. A short drive to local beaches and provincial parks. Enjoy the landscape out back around the fire pit overlooking the river. Lounge in the hot tub overlooking the river and stargaze at night. Truly a getaway in nature to unwind & reconnect with friends and family. LCBO, bakery, diner, pharmacy & grocery store all within 5 minutes drive.

Mapleridge Cabin

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from cabin.

Cozy Riverside Getaway * No cleaning or pet fees*

Stay beside the North River in our charming guesthouse cabin. Private riverfront to launch canoes or kayaks Public Boat launch across the road. Short drive to several lakes, the Trent Severn, multiple parks, extensive off roading & snowmobiling trails. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat. Well cared for pets and their responsible owners are welcomed!

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

No running water. Dishpan + wash basin provided. Outdoor shower is seasonal, open May to Thanksgiving.

Acadia - King Suite @ Rose Cottage Suites

Acadian inspired suite features a private entry, spacious bedroom with a king bed, private 3 pc bath & mini kitchenette. Kitchenette is perfect for light snacks & tea, with a mini fridge, microwave, mini airfryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, mini crock, can opener, cutting board, dishes & cutlery. BBQ and fire-pit available for cooking. Walk outside to your private sitting area or enjoy the fire pit.

Cranberry Lake Cottage

Perched on a majestic slab of Canadian Shield, this peaceful waterfront cottage is tucked away for absolute privacy off a quiet country road on Cranberry Lake, near Arden. The cottage features a spacious combination living room/kitchen. The space also features 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom off the upper level loft. The bird's nest solarium (accessible via one of the bedrooms), is a great lookout.
