It is steps away from the resort's private beach with swim-up dock, slide and marina. By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Kokanee Suite at The Landing

Conveniently located right next to the Balfour Ferry Landing, above Balfour’s most vibrant and locally owned restaurant The Landing. Unwind and relax at this peaceful and unique mountain view Kootenay lake retreat. This one-bedroom suite with full kitchen and bathroom includes all of the amenities of home. Enjoy a beachfront fire pit with wood provided. This suite has the perfect location close to hot springs, golf courses, biking, fishing, skiing and enjoy all that Balfour has to offer.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Blue Heron micro Beach House (A-Frame)

Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. A little bit of forest bathing.

Riverside Campsite

Enjoy the beautiful Kettle River right next to your camping site up Christian Valley Road. Bring your blowups to Float the river and get off at our beach, best time is June/July. Pets are welcome but they have to stay by river as to be careful of the peacocks. There are 11 Sites to choose from as 3 tent sites right on the river, another 3 are riverside and one large pull through. Lots of hiking, hunting and bike riding nearby. 2 pit toilets. 2 Full hookups sites for $40 a night.

The Kootenay Lake House - A Private Luxury Retreat

Perched on Arrow Lakes, minutes from Nakusp in the Kootenay Rockies, the Kootenay Lake House at Kootenay Lakeview Retreats offers breathtaking 180-degree mountain and lake views. Ainsworth Springs Suites - Kutenai Suite

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. NOTE: Please check the hot springs website for further information about access to the hot springs. We are separate from the resort. Pet friendly ($20 pet fee per stay charged separately)
