A flat journey along the water which is rare for Nelson! Mountain biking trails are just a short ride away and the world class Wh2O ski resort is a short 20min drive away Two young boys live upstairs so please expect some noise and footsteps. The property backs on to the Slocan Valley Rail Trail, and is on the route to Valhalla Provincial Park, beside Baldface Valhalla’s catski base and 5 mins from the Vallican Whole. Sissy’s restaurant in Winlaw , and the Dam Inn in South Slocan offer great food and are 10 minutes away.Castlegar and Nelson are a half hour drive away. Fuel, groceries, and spirits are a five minute drive away in Slocan Park.

The guest house is located in an over 100 year old building. The main floor of the building is host to The Frog peak cafe, a popular brunch restaurant in the Kootenays. The apartment is the entire top floor of this building. We are a short 15 min walk from Evergreen natural foods, and our local gas station/liquor store. We are located a 10 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches and swimming spots on the slocan river,and situated at the head of the rails t trails.

Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach. The suites are accessed from the parking area by one of two stair cases or an enclosed wheel chair lift to the upper deck. A new saltwater system hot tub has just been installed for your pleasure
