Astley is a traditionally styled Cotswold cottage providing you with a home from home experience in Stow on the Wold, one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds We are perfectly located at the end of the town with an array of shops, bars and restaurants to suit every need. Cotswold Cottage, Lower Swell, nr Stow-on-the-Wold

Hillview is a charming Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage c.1690 in the pretty village of Lower Swell, just outside Stow-on-the-Wold. It has a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a cosy log-burning stove. Lower Swell is centrally located in the North Cotswolds and is a great base from which to explore this picturesque area. There are beautiful country walks from the front door and it is only a two-minute walk to the village pub. Trains from London take around 90 mins to Moreton-in-Marsh.

Outside there is parking space for several cars and at the front of the house there is a terrace leading onto an open garden

Enjoy exploring the ancient town and learning about the history of the ‘tures’ (old sheep passages). Stow is famous for being an antique dealers heaven. Cheltenham and Oxford are only 30 minutes away.
