Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Explore Anasazi ruins & O’Keefe Country, hike/ bike/climb in El Rito, soak at Ojo Caliente/ undeveloped springs in Taos & Jemez, float the Rio Grande/Chama, swim in Abuquiu lake or enjoy miles of roads great for dirt bikes/ATVs. XC ski 2 mi away after snowstorms + more above Chama/Los Alamos/Taos. Downhill ski in Santa Fe or Taos- 1.5 hr.

Hawk House

This cozy 2-story home sits on 10 acres in the Chama River Valley, with views of Cerro Pedernal and the mountains. Rustic, cozy, with all basic amenities. Ideal for the solo artist or couple. Hiking + hot springs nearby, including Ghost Ranch, Poshuouingue ruins & Ojo Caliente Springs! Most pets are welcome (for a pet fee). We’re located between Taos & Questa. Hiking, biking, rafting, fishing are all nearby, or go check out some of the hot springs instead. If you enjoy star gazing then you’ll love our dark nights.
