Valley Lakes THE LODGE-8 sleeper

Efficiently designed 8 sleeper lakeside lodge with generous volumes. Downstairs: Open plan living area with closed combustion fireplace and smart TV. A well equipped contemporary kitchen with gas top stove, electric oven and dishwasher. 2 x twin/double bedrooms share a full bathroom. Upstairs: A leisure lounge/studio with balconies overlooking the lake on one side and the mountains on the other. 2 x twin/double EN-SUITE bedrooms with mountain AND lake views enjoyed from Juliet balconies.

BIRCHES COTTAGE

Kick off your shoes and relax in sumptuous comfort on the beautiful Brittlewood conservancy. Bordered on one side by the Umzimkulu river and surrounded by mountains Birches cottage invites you to relax and encounter Underberg's seasons and natural beauty. A 2km meandering trail connects several view sites, decks and picnic spots and gives access to trout waters, natural river pools and even the petite, forested Patience Pool. A maximum of 4 guests can visit the conservancy at one time.

Umvuleni farm

Umvuleni farm is situated approx. 15 kms from the Drak gardens turnoff. Consists of a main house and smaller outbuilding. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The smaller outbuilding has 2 rooms and a single bathroom. Large open lawns allow kids to ride bikes and run to their hearts content. For those keen anglers the dam is stocked and waiting for your first cast. The firepit will allow you to keep warm whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

Luxury Farm Cottage in the Berg

Bergview Farm Cottage offers a luxurious escape in the heart of the Drakensberg. Each of the four bedrooms boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, electric blanket, fireplace, and flatscreen TV. The rooms feature elegant decor and amenities like showers or baths. The open-plan lounge and dining area with a 12-seater table connects to a large kitchen equipped with a gas hob and oven. Outside, enjoy a spacious patio, two firepits, and a charcoal braai, all with stunning mountain views.

Two Springs Cottage

The cottage is in the garden next to our family home with a security fence, on a working sheep and cattle farm. The space is well decorated, spacious, neat and clean. It gets wonderful afternoon sun making it light and airy. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We are situated outside of Swartberg, halfway between Underberg and Kokstad. Located conveniently right off the R617 making it easily accessible with minimal gravel road. Rates are per person.

Unwind in style with access to a swimming pool, hot tub, games room, gas braai, and expansive garden. Fondling is an ideal getaway and sleeps up to 15 people.

The Tin Shack

The Tin Shack is set on a small farm 11 kilometers outside the village of Underberg with spectacular views of the berg, offering rustic accommodation ideally suited for small families. A small two bedroom, one bathroom cottage with a deck overlooking the dam. We are fully equipped for self catering, with comfortable beds, kitchen, lounge and braai facilities, with a log fire, no TV, plenty of games and books it is the perfect place to recharge.

Lake Villa

A tranquil experience on our beautiful farm situated in the Southern Drakensberg, KZN. Tastefully decorated and includes a Deli (offers breakfast, lunch & dinner) situated in full view of a beautiful dam and hillside country. The Villa is not pet friendly. Farm activities: Hiking trails, picnics (on request), outside hot tub (book 1 day in advance), milking cows, star gazing, fishing, bird watching and horse riding (book 2 days in advance).

DanThai Farm, Fly Fishing, tubing

If you looking to break free from city life, Dan Thai farm is the perfect place to go for the whole family. The farm is about 20 minutes from Underburg. This self-catering farm house is peaceful and you surrounded by mountains and the well known Umzimkulu River. So much to do for the whole family. Amazing trout fishing, tubing down the river, birdwatching, long walks and so much more.

Stoneyhall Farm Bergview Cottage

& Castle Cottage as it has a beautiful views of Bamboo Mountain and Garden Castle! It is a big family unit on a working farm 17 km outside of Underberg. Enjoy spectacular mountain views and keep warm in front of the cosy fire place in the lounge on a crisp winter night. Stoneyhall Farm is completely off grid and work on solar power backed by a generator.

The Grange Cottage

The Grange Cottage situated on a working cattle and sheep farm. The 2 bedroom open plan cottage is stylfully decorated. Lovely open garden as well as braai area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and join farm drives to experience farming activities first hand. Guests are also welcome to help themselves to the organic veggie garden.
