The Hopewell House

Hopewell House is a gorgeous property in Lagro, IN. A perfect place for a family gathering, long weekend, or a place to unplug! This 1880s home has been restored to its original glory with original wood floors, trim and brick interior. It has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a finished basement and finished attic with a 6th bed and provides space for 12-16 guests. The home features spacious rooms with 10 foot ceilings new bathrooms and has been completely remodeled. It’s a new house in an old shell!

Kick back & relax in this newly rebuilt 1 bedroom home. It’s very clean and comfortable. High speed internet & an Amazon firestick are provided for you. Positioned on a 1/2 acre in Lafontaine (8-10 min from Marion & 15 min from Wabash.) This is the first rebuilt home at this location. There are 7 other small homes that sit vacant at this property, which in time will be rebuilt in the future. (2025?) The location is VERY quiet. You’re one block away from multiple restaurants, movie theater, farmers market, boutiques & more! There is a train that passes behind the house multiple times per day and night, as in the case with most homes in the historic area. But we’ve installed acoustic grade windows in the bedroom to help buffer the train horn.
