A good place to explore the Jurassic coast & attractions such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage, Arne Bird Sanctuary, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum & Wareham Forest. 5-minute walk to the picturesque quay & town centre which has pubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, buses to tourist attractions & a cinema. 10-minute walk to station. Parking on available on drive.

There is a bus stop and 2 local shops a short walk away, and Wareham train station is within 1 mile. Wareham forest, with bike tracks/walking trails is accessed at the end of the road.

Cosy Purbeck Cottage on the Jurassic Coast

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

Gorgeous retreat on River Avon, overlooking world famous Royalty Fisheries, just a 5 min walk from train station, with parking. This stunning Lodge is the perfect getaway, having the benefit of peaceful river views, whilst in the centre of historic Christchurch. Watch the sunrise from bed, then (with a day pass) you can fish or just sit on the large covered verandah or open deck area, watch the wildlife and then walk into town to shop/eat/drink in 5 mins. Close to beaches AND the New Forest.

Spacious ground floor flat in a central location within a short walk through Boscombe Gardens to the glorious beach and a few minutes walk from the 02 venue. The owner lives in the flat above (two storey building) and parking is available on the drive street outside the building. This is the first time hosting in Bournemouth, formerly in Vancouver, Canada and Manchester UK where my husband and I had excellent feedback always. The garden at the rear needs work! Fantastic walking country straight from the front door. Close to beaches, steam trains and stunning countryside.

There is a shared garden area with your own dining and lounging area. We do have a lovely little dog who is very friendly and also the occasional visiting friendly family dogs, who may be around in the garden to say hello.

Situated in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, this beautiful barn is ideally located with beautiful walks from its doorstep (the walk to Corfe Castle is particularly stunning). It makes the ideal base to explore the area either on foot, or by bike.
