It’s the perfect place for a cozy winter break, Perfect for couples, or for a family to enjoy a tranquil break on the on the Isle of Purbeck. Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

No ‘open house’ parties allowed but a perfect place for special occasions and gatherings for our house guests and mature hen parties are welcome.

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds . Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Located on Sandford holiday park, our pet-friendly, privately-owned Canadian-style lodge is available for guests to enjoy. Situated just outside of Poole and able to accommodate up to 6 guests, Fir Tree Lodge allows optional access to all of the facilities here on park, including indoor and outdoor pools, entertainment, kids clubs and bars/restaurants. There is a myriad of fantastic days out in Dorset for guests to enjoy during their stay.
