Spinney Cottage, Pateley Bridge

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Welcome to Meadow Retreats, new in 2025! We offer short breaks with amazing views and lots of fabulous walks in our surrounding areas. Situated in a beautiful secluded location on our working farm. The perfect cosy night to catch wildlife, whilst stargazing in our wood-fired hot tub with a drink! We are within walking distance of the famous Nidderdale way and in close proximity to Harrogate, Ripon and Pateley Bridge. Extras are available at request: Birthdays/celebrations/hampers

The Artist's Retreat is a true get away - if you want peace, quiet & stunning views this is for you. In beautiful Nidderdale, right on the Nidderdale Way and the Way of the Roses, with Brimham Rocks within sight. Ideal as a walking/cycling base, or just for a quiet stay away from it all. With eye catching views of the large garden and surrounding countryside, inside is cosy with a wood burning stove in the sitting room, and the bedroom tucked into the upper body of the cottage.

We look forward to welcoming you to our renovated Cow Byre just a short drive from Ripon. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

Thompson’s Cottage sits within the garden of our family home, with convenient parking available just next door at the village hall. This cosy, modern space features a bright open‑plan living area with a comfortable king‑size bed, seating for two, a well‑equipped compact kitchen with a pull‑out dining table, and a stylish bathroom with a large walk‑in shower. Sawley is a peaceful village within the Nidderdale AONB, offering a wonderfully central base for exploring the area.

The Nestbox is a private, rustic cabin just for two located on our farm at Mallard Grange, close to Fountains Abbey. Mainly open plan inside the carefully chosen vintage and upcycled furniture coupled with modern kitchen and high quality finishing touches make this a great place to stay. Lots to discover; historic houses, gardens, walk, cycle or take a drive in nearby Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales, Ripon 3 miles, Harrogate 11 miles, Grantley Hall 1.5 miles.

A unique and romantic larch-clad studio with stunning views over Nidderdale, just a mile from Brimham Rocks and located at "Springhill Getaways". Once jeweller Alice Clarke’s creative space, it now offers a peaceful, stylish retreat with a hanging log burner and on-site parking. Set above our other Airbnb, Cosy Cottage, both spaces run on renewable energy. We’re excited to share this special place with those seeking a tranquil escape in the heart of Yorkshire.

The End Place - A romantic hideaway for two

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
