The space is completely self-contained with a large fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, a luxurious king size bed and a twin daybed. This piece of Central Kentucky is along the Bourbon trail, and is just 1-hour from Louisville, 40 minutes from Lexington, and 20 minutes from Bardstown.

Bourbon Trail Schoolhouse

Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

Great place for groups! Turnerville Tavern is a unique vintage farmhouse/gift shop/driving range located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail in central KY. With vintage furnishings and a large downstairs living room dedicated to all things Kentucky, groups can gather here and feel at home in the Bluegrass. There are 3 outdoor porches to sit and view the farm and a gift shop. Other amenities include a fire pit, books, ping-pong, wide yard, cornhole, and farm animals. Very peaceful & private farm.

Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Relax in the country on our privately owned farm. Conveniently stay along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Maker’s Mark is 6.9 miles away, Historic Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World is less than 10 miles away which is home of multiple distilleries. Start your day with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise or unwind by the fire pit as the sun sets. This is one of two cabins we have on the property, so if this isn’t available check #2 or bring others and you each have a cabin!
