Basecamp in the White mountains

This small cabin has recently been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

White Mountain Base Camp

This warm and comfortable condo will be your base camp for all the attractions that the New Hampshire's White Mountains has to offer! It literally sits at the foot of Loon Mountain and the Kancamagus Highway. The Pemigewasset River and its best swimming hole are right in the back yard. You will have access to the facility pools, hot tub, game room, and laundry facilities. Some of the town's best restaurants are within walking distance. The Lodge at Lincoln Station is the ideal place to stay!

Franconia Notch, 10-15 minutes drive to hiking, skiing at Loon or Cannon , 30 min to Waterville Valley. Snowshoe out the door by the river. My Swiss heritage makes me a supurb cleaner. Wifi. Parking. Also nearby are hiking and biking trails, swimming as well as many other outdoor activities. 25 minutes from Loon Mountain and 10 minutes from Waterville valley. Bikers are welcome.
