Sleep in upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or curl up by the fire on the rustic screened porch. Daydream on our hammock or dine alfresco taking advantage of our barbeque. On a clear night, it is easy to stargaze up through the tall trees, perhaps while toasting marshmallows fireside.

Welcome! Just two hours from Manhattan, our home is the perfect Catskills getaway. Tucked into the woods at the base of Minnewaska state park, our home is quiet, clean and full of light. The house is surrounded by green and nature, but close to cute towns for shopping and dining and of course all the area has to offer with hikes and outdoor activities. Or stay in and lounge on the deck, listen to some records, watch a movie, and relax. It's everything you need for a dream vacation.

Blue Haven in the Catskills

We built a studio-house on the foundation of an old summer cottage. We did not expand the footprint, but furnished it with select pieces and appliances and gave it contemporary finishes. We also added a screened porch, open deck and stone patio. The woodland and mountain views are lovely, while the location is convenient to Lake Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. Ulster County levies a 4% tax on overnight stays. Payment is made anytime between confirmation and arrival.

Cozy Cottage | Sauna + Stone Patio w/ Firepit

Escape to a serene cottage nestled on the Shawangunk Ridge. Unwind by the fireplace, soak in the private infrared sauna (with direct patio access), or relax outside on the natural stone terrace with a firepit and forest views. Crafted with care—from a 100-year-old reclaimed wood dining table to a curated “meaningful library” and hidden messages—this space invites calm, curiosity, and connection. Near trails, lakes, and local adventure. Thoughtful, cozy, and quietly unforgettable.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

Hidden cabin on 2 wooded acres

Retreat to a beautiful cabin and get lost on two wooded acres. Reconnect with nature in your own way - hike around nearby Lake Minnewaska, or another of the dozens of incredible trails in the area. Explore infinity under a blanket of stars and share stories gathered around the firepit. When you’re called inside, grab a book and settle in by the fireplace. Then cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen or on the grill, and enjoy it on the patio overlooking the property.

Built in 1900, the home was recently gut renovated and features two spacious bedrooms, full bathroom, open plan dining room and living space, a three-season sun room, back deck, and a modern and well appointed kitchen. Located just minutes from Minnewaska State Park and all the beauty and fun the Shawangunks have to offer!

Stay at our comfortable and private 2-bed/2-bath home with covered porch, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor shower, and additional office cabin (perfect for work, exercise, or meditation) all surrounded by beautifully wooded forest. Centrally located in Kerhonkson just 15 minutes from local farm markets, popular farm-to-table restaurants and breweries, and hiking and other outdoor activities.

Lidar West

Lidar West is a unique mountain home located in the woods by one of New York City's major reservoirs. The main house is a 1400 sqft 2 bed, 2 bath, ideal for families with kids, and there's a sleeping cabin with an additional queen bed, electric heater, and wood burning stove called Hemmelig Rom, which I built myself using oak milled on the property.
