The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Hello! We're Em and James! We live on the Chavenage Estate which is home to four generations of James’s family. We wanted to share our space, and our love of the outdoors with you here in the beautiful South Cotswolds. We love exploring the countryside so we have created our cabin in the woods for you to immerse yourself in nature, reconnect with each other and unwind with some simple luxuries. Bluebell Pod is our couples pod, with a double bed and pull out sofa, dining table, living space and a romantic outdoor bathtub with fantastic lake views and views of the farm. Our self catering pods have a kitchenette with induction hobs and a microwave. We also have outdoor seating and a private BBQ for an al-fresco dining experience. Each pod has luxurious décor selected with extra comfort in mind. Near Thornbury, Bristol where you will find lots shops and restaurants.
