Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views & Hot Tub

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Willow Arch Shepherd's Hut with hot tub

With your own terrace and firepit to enjoy the Somerset countryside outside over a glass of wine, in the perfectly warm hot tub, or cosy woodburner inside, you are sure of a unique experience. This Shepherds Hut has a long double giving extra space for tall guests and the main area has sofa, dining table and of course your own ensuite bathroom with free toiletries. The traditional fitted kitchen is equipped with all you need to cook meals and there's plenty of complementary tea and fresh coffee.

The Garden Retreat with Hot Tub

Located on the outskirts of Bournemouth and Poole and within reach of the New Forest, the Garden Retreat is a self contained 1 bedroom lodge with private courtyard and hot tub. The Garden Retreat is 2 mins walk from a local pub/restaurant. Bournemouth’s award winning beaches are about 15 minutes away by car. Lodge features air conditioning, remote controlled blinds, hot tub with mood lighting and floating Bluetooth speaker, outdoor dining area, fridge, combi oven, coffee machine and sofa bed.

Cosy Country Cabin

The Cabin is situated on our land, next to our garden. It faces down the valley with scenic views and a peaceful setting. It's an ideal place to relax and a great base from which to explore the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside. If you like wildlife you may spot deer, hares, kestrels, buzzards, barn owls. It's open plan with a light and pleasant lounge space, sleeping nook containing a very comfortable double bed, kitchen with a fridge/freezer and 2 ring gas hob and a compact shower room.

Log Cabin/Hot Tub on Private Lake Jurassic Coast

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

The Garden Hideaway Retreat is a bespoke cedar cabin with private hot tub. Perfect for cosy stays anytime of the year. The cabin, situated in its own garden, is a short stroll from the pretty Georgian town of Blandford Forum. The town offers a range of restaurants, pubs, independent shops, nature reserve and North Dorset trail way. A number of eateries deliver meals directly to the gate. The space will suit both individuals & couples looking for a quiet space in which to relax and unwind.

Sit back and chill in this calm, stylish space. Moorhen is a newly refurbished cabin in the owner's grounds. Surrounded by open countryside and sitting directly on a bridleway/cycle route 26. It comes with use of the owner's tennis court, boules court and riverbank. In addition to the balcony some areas of the main garden are also for guest use . Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth and the world famous Jurassic coast. Moorhen provides a peaceful base for you to take it easy and explore

The Hyde

Nestled in the countryside near Wareham,The Hyde is a charming, self-contained cabin perfect for two. It boasts a cozy interior with flexible sleeping options. The location offers easy access to local attractions including Arne RSPB, Corfe Castle,Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Woodside Cabin is a hand-built contemporary, warm and cosy hideaway set in the garden of the main house on the edge of private woodland backing on to open fields. It has 1 en-suite bedroom with double shower, fully fitted kitchen, and large bi-fold doors leading out to your own private garden. It’s a great space for couples looking for a mini break/romantic getaway. It’s also a great base for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast and all the incredible views South Dorset has to offer.

We sadly can't host Children under 16 or dogs.
