Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Hideaway Retreat

Hideaway is a traditional fisherman's cottage located in White Horse Yard, behind the cobbled streets in the heart of the old town. It is just a stones throw from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants/bars, but tucked away for peace and quiet. Sleeping up to 5 guests, featuring a cosy kitchen/living area with a central fire place. There is also a private spacious outdoor space to catch the afternoon sun. Access is via a few steps, so may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

No. 3 is a stylish one-bedroomed bijou cottage, perfect for a short-break. Situated on a narrow cobbled street yards off a main shopping street, there is Free nearby parking (scratchcard provided). See Whitby Abbey from the front door and the cliff top from the end of the road. Shop around the corner for milk, bread, newspaper or wine. Stylish cafes, restaurants, & micro brewery a few minutes away. Free wifi, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, spacious en-suite. Price includes all Airbnb fees.

This newly refurbished Victorian town house is only a 5 min stroll to the harbour cafes bars & restaurants. Can sleep 8, Room 1 King size bed, Room 2 double bed , Room 3 two single beds and Room 4 has a double sofa bed (ground floor), this room doubles up as a second living room when the sofa bed is not required. 2 bathrooms, one on ground floor The newly fitted kitchen and dining room are on the lower ground floor. Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!
