Make s’mores at the fire pit or relax on the lakeside deck. Iron County has over 450 miles of motorized trails for you to explore. Ski or hike MECCA Trails, just 1.7 miles away. Cozy home features warm lighting & paint colors and creative Northwoods decorating with a modern touch. Amenities include high speed internet, stainless appliances, coffee maker, front load washer and dryer, streaming services/Apple TV, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 fireplaces , central AC and a high efficiency furnace. The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Includes use of a row boat, canoe and two kayaks, boat motor available-extra charge. Rustic cabin feel with pristine views, a fire pit for roasting marsh mellows. Centrally located between Minocqua and Boulder Junction. Room Tax is now being collected directly thru Airbnb at 6.75% and remitted to the Town of Boulder Junction.

The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.
