The 418 began as a blacksmith business built in 1866 in the Village of Wallen, which was eventually incorporated into Fort Wayne. This home offers all of the at home luxuries, including fresh ground local coffees, teas, a spot for your 4-legged friend, and a quiet workspace. The Carriage House is a smoke free and pet free environment. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). It is a private carriage house completely detached from the other residence on property giving our guests access to a private kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, laundry area, and loft. The carriage house backs into a private fenced in yard with roughly 1/2 acre of land which is equipped with firepit.
