Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

Stable Cottage at Yearle House

Stable Cottage is a newly renovated cottage in the grounds of Yearle House in the Northumberland National Park, yet just over a mile from the market town of Wooler and half an hour to many beaches and castles. The cottage has an open-plan spacious ground floor with sitting and dining area with kitchen and 2 en-suite bedrooms on the first floor.garden with patio and more shared gardens to explore. There are many walks right from the door and lots of wildlife to see.

The Bothy. Cosy, eco friendly barn camping.

The Bothy is a delightful 19th century listed barn on an old farm. The room is light and airy with stunning views over the Northumberland countryside, between the Cheviots and the Northumberland coast. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Bothy comes with a composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside the door. Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.
