Our home is less than 10 minutes from Ohio University. The log sided cabin sits at the front of our 105 acre property and overlooks a wonderful 16 acre private water ski lake. The cabin has ample private parking and its own 1/2 acre pond located off the front door. This house was our home for 10 years and is setup for family usage. In spring and summer swim and play at the lake. For fall and winter seasons this cabin makes a perfect hunting lodge being close to tons of public hunting land.

We are located near Nelsonville's Historic Arts District, the Nelsonville Music Festival, Hocking College, Hocking Hills State Park, Athens & Ohio University, Lake Hope State Park, and Wayne National Forest. We offer a smart TV with wifi for entertainment. The cabin is heated and cooled with mini split units, one down stairs and one in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has access to private porch decks. We are pet friendly. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. I promise you will see a stinkbug, lady bug or wood beetle.

Twin Oak

The Twin Oak cabin has been recently renovated, and is identical to and just past our Big Pine cabin. The Twin Oak is more secluded, with a short but steep driveway. Couples often prefer this cabin because it is more hidden at the end of the road. Because of the driveway, guests pulling any type of trailer prefer our Big Pine cabin. If the Twin Oak is selected, a trailer can be parked behind the cabin or at the top of the driveway.

The Ledges Cabin at Blue Valley

The Ledges Cabin is a luxury stay that sits on 35 wooded acres filled with sandstone cliffs, caves, flora, and fauna. It has three bedrooms and a pull out couch, a full kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and massive windows with a great view of the Ledges. It also has an eight-seat hot tub, a large deck, firepit, plenty of hiking with beautiful rock outcroppings, and a creek that runs through the middle of the property.
