Newly renovated by ourselves we have retained many of the old features while providing a modern day living creating a home from home experience. Unusually for a house in the centre of the village this property offers a fully enclosed garden and parking just in front. This is an ideal place to stay to visit all Normandy has to offer within easy reach of Ports and Airports and on the Voie Vert for dedicated cyclists.

Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . Ideal base for exploring D-Day beaches, Mon Saint-Michel and Bagnoles-de-L'orne (golf course). Cyclists can enjoy the scenic and picturesque La Voie Verte (green route), which can be accessed close by.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The large living room comprising of lounge, kitchen and dinning areas with access to the patio for outdoor dining. On the ground floor, down a step there is also a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Upstairs off a large landing there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large family room with a double bed and bunk beds with an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have views of the large gardens and countryside beyond.

Concombre Cottage

Welcome to Concombre Cottage, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. 1 dog allowed per stay, 2 dogs on request. Dogs must be kept on a lead in garden areas. Our spacious private two bedroom cottage renovated to a high spec in 2022 is ideal for a relaxing holiday yet only a 5 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities. Cycle path & fishing lakes nearby.

The apartment has been fully renovated in 2024 and is on the ground floor of the house with private entrance. There is a private section of the garden exclusively for you with charcoal BBQ and seating areas. The property is located 6 metres from the River Orne giving you unique views from the lounge and bedroom. Towels, Bed Linen and Tea towels are included The property is not accessible for people with reduced mobility The bathroom has a walk in shower (no bath tub)
