THE COOPERAGE was built in 1896 for one of the Ballarat Bertie Brewery's finest coopers - John Nice. This 4-bedroom Victorian Cottage is situated on a corner block with beautifully manicured gardens. Over the years, Ballarat's highly sought-after builders extended this house and added an amazing lantern style roof to bring an abundance of natural light in this beautiful home. Ligar Homestay - comfortable and stylish near city

Guests tell us our house feels homey. We are international travelers with an interest in Ballarat gold history so we have decorated accordingly. When making a standard booking for 1 - 2 people, you have access to the main rooms in the house and one bedroom with a sitting area. If 2+ people are staying and other bedrooms are required, there is an additional fee. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and the third bedroom off the lounge room has a small double (3/4) bed that can be opened.
