A listed building recently converted with the care of Cumbrian craftsmen - lime plastered wiggly walls, oak floors, handcrafted oak doors and stairs, hand forged latches and handles. Situated in the Lake District with panoramic views from the door over the orchard, across fields of sheep and beyond to the North Pennines and Howgills.

The Byre at Grange Farm is a cosy characterful rural hideaway retreat for a couple or family up to 4 people. It is a totally private annex next to our main farmhouse in the picturesque village of Bampton Grange in the Lake District. The accommodation is all open plan with TV(freeview), woodburner & comfy sofas opening up to a breakfast bar, newly appointed kitchen & shower room. On request we can offer an evening meal / breakfast basket filled with homemade and locally sourced goodies!

A 10-minute drive away is Haweswater which is a great place to have a very peaceful hill walk. In the other direction, Pooley Bridge is more populated and offers diversions such as hiring a rowing boat or travelling up the Lake on a steamer.
