The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. Just down the lane is Edale village with its pubs, cafes, national park visitor centre and train station (connecting Sheffield and Manchester).

Whether you are coming to see a show in the famous Buxton Opera House or to simply enjoy the countryside & fresh air then Hope Cottage is in a great location for it all, located half way between Buxton & The Hope Valley

Edale - Loft with a view

Mam Tor Loft is located in the heart of Edale in the Peak District. Large arched windows offer incredible views to the North, South and West of the property. There are 3 x bedrooms and 2 x bathrooms sleeping 6 people comfortably. There is walking and mountain biking from the door, with the Pennine Way starting just a few minutes up the road. Two pubs, two cafes and an excellent shop all within a few minutes. Plenty of parking available and the Loft contains all modern conveniences.
