Lakefront solitude & nature await on private Lake Edward in the ADK. Fully-equipped, year-round retreat with comfortable furnishings & linens for a relaxing stay. Sip coffee or cocktails while watching loons & beavers from the screened porch, dock, or waterfront campfire. WiFi, a private dock, gas grill, picnic table, kayaks and rowboat for your enjoyment. Great fishing! Easy 1 hr drive to Saratoga dining, shopping & racetrack, 1 hr from Albany airport, 4.5 hrs from NYC, 3 hrs from Boston

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.

Surrounded by many Amish neighbors, we are centrally located to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, the Southern Adirondacks, Saratoga, Albany, Utica, and the Mohawk Valley (all within an hour's drive or less.) Enjoy a quiet retreat far off the road with authentic Amish furniture and decor and modern conveniences (washer & dryer, dishwasher, Keurig, AC/Heat, WiFi and streaming TV.)
