Cosy, restored self-catering barn with a log burner. The barn is Grade 2 listed and retains the original 17th century wooden beams. Situated only 7 minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path. Located on a secluded working mountain farm, overlooking the famous village of Beddgelert, just a 10 minute walk down through the fields and ancient oak woodland. Traditional 19th Century Slate Miners Cottage

A original slate miners cottage built in the late 1800's . Located in Tanygrisau , just outside of the historic Slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog . It is well positioned just a short walk away from all the shops and amenities the town has to offer with the local pub also just up the road . The narrow gauge steam railway runs past the back garden and can also be seen from the rear bedroom. Close by we have Llechwedd slate caverns, zipwires and mountain biking.

Dolwaen is perfectly situated for getting out & about in the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Ideally placed to visit historic town of Harlech, with its spectacular castle and quirky shops. Porthmadog is also close by where you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway across to Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

My cottage is a mid terraced small miners cottage, perched high above Blaenau FFestiniog with stunning views in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. You have access straight into the mountains. It is beautifully warm in the winter and in the summer catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Zip World, Bounce Below , the LLechwedd Slate Caverns and the FFestiniog Railway are all close by.
