The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton.

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

The Old Piggery, Tideswell

This cosy converted barn is set in the countryside on the fringes of an historic village in the centre of the Peak District National Park. With an abundance of country walks and trails right from the door, including the Limestone Way and the Pennine Bridleway, it is ideal for walkers, cyclists or couples just seeking a quiet retreat. Just a 5-minute stroll into the thriving village of Tideswell, home to 'the Cathedral of the Peak', with traditional pubs, restaurants, cafes and local shops.

The Burrows garden flat in central Buxton

The Burrows is a self-contained garden flat tucked away on an unadopted back road in the heart of Buxton. It has its own private entrance and garden (5 steps down) with an off-road parking space for a small car. A deceptively spacious bolthole the flat has one large bedroom with a kingsize bed, bathroom with bath and shower, a library and study area, a light and airy living room, and a recently upgraded kitchen. Central heating and WiFi. Meet and greet check in from 10:00 - 16:00 only.

A Buxton Eco-house for Peak District adventures

The cottage is located in central Buxton, 10 mins walk from the cultural centre around The Opera House and Crescent Spa Hotel. It is convenient for Bus and Rail connections. There is a single VW Golf sized parking place (larger if you're careful) at the rear with metered EV charge point. We have designed the rebuilding to include a room-in-the-roof bedroom, whole house ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating throughout, powered by Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump.

Cobbler’s Cottage is set in the village of Tideswell in the heart of the Peak District. It's a perfect base for walkers, cyclists and those wanting to kick back and relax. Combining 1600s charm with stylish interior design, our small, but perfectly formed cottage, has everything you need to relax and replenish after long days exploring the National Park (or the local inns). We welcome you to our gorgeous cottage in the centre of Buxton, England's leading spa town. No3 Brocklehurst Cottage has been recently renovated to offer comfortable, light and airy accommodation with high quality fittings. Within walking distance of everything Buxton has to offer. We have available secure parking for one car upon request a minutes walk behind the building in front of the cottage. The train station is a five minute walk away.
