Gamekeeper’s Cabin is a self-enclosed property ideal for visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Borders, New Lanark, and Dumfries & Galloway. When the sun is shining you can enjoy the private outdoor seating area. Otherwise, enjoy the fire and bask in cosiness. Our rural location on a cycle route just outside the historic market town of Biggar brings privacy, stunning views, and great walks like Coulter Fell or Tinto. We recommend bringing a car (Biggar is a 15-minute walk away), parking is provided.

A self-contained one-bedroom lodge, the Cosy is tucked away a few metres from waymarked walks. Available all year round it’s ideal for walkers and lovers of the great outdoors. Bring boots or bikes and head off from your own door. We’re situated close to the A702 making us a convenient stop over if you’re traveling up or down the country.

The little lodge is set in a wildflower paddock nestled beneath a native woodland copse. French windows open out onto a decking area with wonderful views over the undulating Berwickshire countryside. The Lodges’s open-plan layout consists of a living area with sofa bed and kitchen/dining area with wood-burning stove. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. A car is recommended due to the semi-rural location.
