Our purpose built Sanctuary is a real home from home , ideal for two adults plus pets ,to live in whilst visiting friends or family in the area or for using it as a base for a holiday as many guests use us to explore Northumberland , its wonderful beaches , Morpeth , Alnwick , Seahouses and Bamburgh .It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the local beach , the A19 and just a twenty minute bus ride into the centre of Newcastle or use the great bus service catching the X7 which runs every 30 mins.

It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. The Annexe is our newly-renovated self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of the Northumbrian village of Stannington. We are located just off the A1, with easy access to Newcastle, the Airport, Northumberland Coast and Country, and Scotland. Stannington has a pub and farm shop and is only 5 miles from the market town of Morpeth. The Annexe is spacious and versatile, suitable for wedding guests, business travellers, family staycations, or stopovers whilst travelling north or south.

Sunrise Cottage is a modern and stylish 2 bedroom home. It can accomodate a family of 4 or 2 couples. There are 2 free parking bays available. There are 2 toilets and there is a washing machine. It is situated on the main road into the town. The stairs are steep and the bath/shower is deep so the property would not be recommended for anyone with mobility issues. No stagg or hen parties, no smoking and no pets.
