Lake Windermere unique campervan pet friendly

Perfect way to see the Lake District. We have at LDCVhire a newly converted luxury Volkswagen campervan sleeping 4 (transports 4). This is a very high spec brand new campervan costing over £45000 This vehicle has a thermostated heater similar to the one you use at home. It even works when your not on a campsite, ideal for those cosy winter nights. Our insurance is valid for ages 23-75 with a driving licence held more than 2 years unless not from the UK (see countries listed below).

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Kendal Retreat with heating and plumbed en suite!

Lovingly restored 1965 Retreat with proper loo, shower, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi! King size bed with linen, towels and toiletries provided. Fully equipped for 2 . Snuggle into The Tipi and soak up the view, make suppers in the the pizza oven or BBQ or huddle around the firepit and cook over the embers. Discover the walled pond and private jetty or wander down the lane to The Pub. Magical! PS: the caravan is compact with limited headroom - the high+mighty will need to duck!

Peggy's Cabin at Nabby Nook woods - Hebden Bridge

Come and stay in our cabin in the woods at our sustainable outdoor living area . Ideal for 2, can accommodate 3. Bedding provided. Each cabin has a double bed, a seating area with a wood burning stove and a private outdoor area. Site facilities include The Woodshed, an outdoor kitchen and dining room. This is the place for a private quiet eco friendly retreat. Nabby Nook feels secluded and remote but we are only a 20 minutes walk from Hebden Bridge just off the Pennine Way.

Welcome to Annie's Horse wagon a Quirky Dog Friendly Glamping experience for 2 with its own Log fired Hot tub, parked in its own private fenced area of our meadow on our 40acre smallholding. Located on the outskirts of Ravensworth, North Yorkshire, the local pub The Bay Horse is just a 10minute walk and Mainsgill one of the largest Farm Shops in North is a 20minute walk. Market Towns :Richmond (North Yorkshire) & Barnard Castle (Co.Durham) are both under a 15minute drive.

Situated right behind Stump Cross Caverns, the Time Cafe is only a short walk away with a variety of cakes, hot drinks, and food for both breakfasts and lunches. Don't forget to head down into the caves for an underground adventure whilst you stay at this beautiful location.

Camping Barn, Abbot Park Farm

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Dixie Airstream Glamping in Style near Windermere

Relax in this iconic 1957 American Airstream, situated on the grounds of an 18th Century residence, conveniently located between the villages of Ings and Staveley and only 2.5 miles from Windermere. The Airstream has been permanently placed and with such benefits, a comfortable double bed, fresh running water, electricity and a plumbed-in loo. Wooden decking to the front makes an ideal space to have a BBQ or read a book.
