Saunton Cottage - At One With Nature

Saunton Cottage is set in 16 acres of beautiful countryside with far reaching views across the valley looking over one of the 2 substantial lakes on the property. The words most often used by guests to describe the environment are serene and tranquil – a real escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We have direct access to the renowned Tarka Trail via a private track in the grounds. You can walk to it without having to go on a road and then you are on a lovely 35 mile cycle/ footpath.

Private cabin sitting on an island over its own lake the ideal place to stay amongst nature and unwind in 10 acres. Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. Help feed the animals and relax, recharge & re-connect!

Newly converted in 2021, Highfield Barn is nestled on the edge of a thriving Devonshire village perfectly situated in the middle of all North Devon and Cornwall have to offer. The open plan living space is perfect for cosy evenings on the sofa in front of the log burner, or for cooking up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen. If you don't fancy cooking the pub is less than a 5-minute walk, as is the fantastic village shop. Off-road parking and secure, private garden safe for children and pets.

Chapel Corner forms half of a converted Wesleyan Chapel built in 1864. It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. The Old Stable-Shippon is in the grounds of an Edwardian former vicarage set in the picturesque hamlet of Dowland in the heart of the unspoilt Devon countryside. It is on the ground floor of a renovated cottage which was built in 1862.The Shippon benefits from its own delightful garden and enjoys sole access to The Green House Spa which offers a hot tub, sauna and shower area. A perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views across the surrounding fields.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.
